This bed is designed slightly angled off the wall it’s typically perpendicular to. Brass accents at each joint are sanded according to the direction of the Baltic birch lamination. Supplementary angles and various dimensional gradations create tapering typically seen in perspective drawings. With this skewed approach, the form appears oddly distorted regardless of where you stand - mirroring individualized perception and the way it distorts our reality.
