Inspired by Japanese shoji screens, this door marks a calming entrance to a bedroom. The soft translucency of the sandblasted plexi provides privacy while still allowing some indirect sunlight to illuminate the hallway. Minimally designed to balance the chatoyance of quilted maple; while the bold, yet delicate, patinated steel door handle subtly punctuates the entrance to the space.
